The Devil's in the Detail

As a newbie, sometimes we get so bogged down in all the information that we are learning here at Wealthy Affiliate that we forget that we need to put in place systems for ourselves.

Every new trick you learn to build your business is something that you want to remember. Some of these tips you need to use each day on your posts. Perhaps it is doing SEO, or it's the way that you add Images or even how many internal and external links that you put in.

Now that you are your own boss you need to develop systems to work to each day. I use lists!

I have a list of tips for writing my blog in Site Content, it includes, check spelling, add images, internal links, external links. Then when I've hit publish I go into edit on dashboard and I check my SEO readability there, fix any duplicate words, look in view post that my links are working, fill in category and tags, etc.

By compartmentalizing each task I find my mind is clearer for creating and my content is going to have the best chance of being noticed by Google. I also won't have to keep going back to correct simple issues.

Once a week I go into my website details and check how fast my website is loading. If it is slow (around 80 or less) I click on each post to see if that is the problem and go and fix the issue (usually my images are too large).

Staying focused on these little details will build you a quality website with excellent content. A piece of valuable real estate to stake your success on in 2022.
