Week 1-2: The Excitement Phase: Everyone starts here. We're motivated, we're setting up our site, picking our niche, watching every training video we can find. This part is easy because it feels like progress even when we haven't earned a cent yet.

Week 3-6: Where It Gets Quiet: This is where things start to slow down. We're writing posts, but nobody's reading them yet. No traffic, no comments, no sales. And this is exactly where a lot of people start checking their stats every day, hoping something changed overnight. It never does, not this fast. At least not for me 😜.

I remember refreshing my analytics constantly during this stretch, watching that "0 visitors" number and starting to wonder if I was doing something wrong. I wasn't. I just hadn't given it enough time.

Week 7-12: The Quit Zone: This is where most people actually give up. Three months in, still no real money, and the doubt starts creeping in hard. "Maybe this doesn't work." "Maybe I'm not cut out for this." "Maybe everyone online is lying about how easy it is."

Here's the thing nobody tells us upfront: Google itself usually takes 3 to 6 months just to start trusting a new website enough to rank it properly. So if you're judging our success at the 90 day mark, we're judging something that hasn't even had a real chance to work yet.

Why People Actually Quit: It's rarely about the work being too hard. It's about expecting results too fast and then feeling like a failure when they don't show up. Nobody sets out expecting overnight results, but three months of silence in the online world makes even patient people start doubting themselves.

What Actually Got Me Through It

I stopped checking my numbers every day. I picked one day a week to look at stats and just kept writing the rest of the time. I focused on getting content out instead of getting results out, because content was the thing I could actually control.

I also reminded myself that every single successful person in this space went through this exact same quiet stretch. Nobody skips it. The people who made it aren't smarter or luckier, they just kept going through the part where nothing seems to be happening.
