How I Find Post Ideas Using Questions People Actually Ask

For a while, I struggled to come up with post ideas for platforms like Medium etc. I'd sit there trying to think of something clever, and most of the time, nothing came. Then I changed how I looked for ideas, and it got a lot easier.

1. I stopped trying to invent topicsInstead of making up ideas from scratch, I started paying attention to what people were already asking. Real questions, typed into Google by real people. Turns out that's a much easier place to start than staring at a blank page.

2. I type a simple word into Google and just watchWhen you start typing something into the search bar, Google shows suggestions based on what other people search for. I use those suggestions as post ideas. No guessing involved, since Google is basically showing me what people already want to know.

3. I check the "questions" that show up on the results pageSometimes when you search something, a box appears with a list of related questions. Those are gold. If people are already asking it, it means there's a real need for an answer.

4. I keep a running list instead of writing on the spot Whenever I spot a good question, I save it somewhere instead of trying to write about it immediately. That way, when I sit down to write, I already have a list ready instead of starting from zero.

5. I pick the smaller, simpler questions firstBig broad questions are harder to rank for and harder to answer well. Small, specific questions are usually easier to write about, and easier for a new post to actually show up for.Since I started doing this, coming up with post ideas isn't the hard part anymore. The questions are already out there. I just have to go find them.
