Three Weeks In.WOW

I've been a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community for three weeks and three days and all I would like to say at this point is; WOW! I've learned more about affiliate marketing in my three weeks here than I could have ever imagined. And much of what I have learned is applicable for me with other things I am currently involved in.

For instance: I held two domain names along with hosting when I came to WA. Yet, I had absolutely no idea how to upload wordpress, build them out, where to locate images, find my niche or how to protect them from spam or malicious comments once I got them going. Thanks to WA training, I now have a greater grasp of how to proceed. To date the most important lesson I have received to date, is "Understanding the Customer". That one tutorial from Kyle is worth his weight in platinum. Because, everything about a site should be about bring value to the life of the customer. Some might say that this should have been a "no brainer", but it wasn't.

In the past when I had considered creating a website, I couldn't get past what I wanted to say, how I wanted it to look, how I wanted it to feel, it was all about ME! Shifting the focus to the customer I want to reach, has allowed me to relax and enjoy the journey. I still want my voice heard but a little insight into the customer thought process helps me structure how to let it be heard. It's not all about ME!

I still have much to learn and I'm excited to do so because I am in the right place for it.
