The Journey Back Home to Wealthy Affiliate

Oh! My! Word! How I have missed this platform, training, encouragement, motivation and most importantly the amazing people that make up this platform.

Back in 2012 I had signed up here at Wealthy Affiliate right after I lost my brother to cancer. Life is too short and I knew that I had it in me to make it in the online world. After all, I graduated Valedictorian with a Bachelor in Science Degree in Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing always intrigued me. Plus I've been online since 1998 and knew a little something about the Internet.

I stuck around for 4 years and built quite a few niche sites. Two of those sites still bring me a small monthly income but what can you expect when you haven't touched them in 3 years right? Actually, if you think about it, the training here is what has sustained my site in some #1 positions on Google because I did it the right way... I wrote for the reader and not the algorithm.

In 2015 I had to make a pretty tough decision and cancel my membership here at WA. I was going in a different direction and didn't think that I would need the platform any longer.

Boy was I wrong!!!

Let me just say that I believe God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives and being a woman of Faith I know that the steps I took these past 3 years helped me to grow tremendously. I had to gain confidence, assurance, worthiness and a totally different mind set than what I had.

These past three years have changed me and taught me so much about who I am and what I'm capable of.

I learned how to run a Shopify store and integrate with Facebook - My daughter bought me a Cricut for Mother's Day and I went on a 6-month binge of crafting. Thought I would make a business out of it so set up a shop and started marketing it. Figured out real quick that I enjoy making stuff for family and friends without the added pressure.

I Conducted Vision Board Workshops Locally and Online - This is something I still do and will continue to do but it's given me such a greater vision for my business and the direction I sense God is leading me in.

I became a Life Coach and had the amazing opportunity to coach 10 Women whose lives will never be the same again. If need be, I can step right back into the role of a Life Coach but I feel led to pick back up with the teaching of Social Media and Affiliate Marketing.

I overcome fears that were holding me back - 2017-18 were years that I crushed FEAR and did so many things afraid. It was doing things afraid that really took me to another level in my mind set and business.

I hired 3 Different Coaches - These coaches were crucial to me growing in business, mind set and personally. Learned lots about how to coach and how not to coach. Hiring my last coach was a pivotal moment in life that helped me with my confidence, self-worth and lots of sales training.

I took on the role as Marketing Director for mine and my husbands local Home Inspection Business and will be using the training here to start dominating the Search Engines and getting our name out there online.

It's okay not to know everything
Don't compare yourself to others
Never stop learning
Never Ever Give Up
Reach out to people even if your scared of rejection
Help others as much as you can

Step out in Faith
Dream BIG! Set Goals! Crush Fears!
