Target your FB Post and get more engagement

Back to my Tip/Trick Tuesday Videos (after a total loss of my MacBook Pro and new computer malfunction) this week I did a video for all the Business owners that have a Facebook Page.
Have a special event you want to target the locals for? Have a special sale just for the ladies or gentlemen? Or how about a certain age group you want to target? You can target your post to only these audiences by using the News Feed Audience Selector.
In the following video I walk you through making sure your page is set up to target a specific audience and how to do it.

Some ideas as to why you would want to target specific audiences:
- For the local business that may be having a sale and want to target only the locals or a Restaurant that is having a special on lunch/dinner and want to target those in a specific city
- Having a sale that pertains to woman? Then make sure your post gets in the news feed of all your fans who are women.
- Address a certain age group of fans on your page to ask questions.
One thing I do want to mention is that your post will get in the news feed of this targeted audience however it will still be visible to anyone that visits your Business page so if you don't want everyone to be able to see this post then Hide it from your page.
Find the post you want to hide, click on the down arrow then choose Hide from Page.
