Movements for health body & mind
I know many people who wants to change something in life but they always have excuses! " I know I should loose some weight but..." I have a bad posture because of sitting 10 hours at the office, and my back hurts, and I should do something but..."
First of all SHOULD isn't exist! Try to use the MUST instead of should and you'll see clearly what you have to do! If you realize something goes wrong you have to change imidiately! Okay, the other thig is! I'll start to train when I'll have better conditioning, so I'm running before! Really? Why not going to train and you'll get what you need faster than doing something else before that! Your body and mind is adapting to the thig you use it! So keep moving, life is movement!
Let's have a look on tthis pictures! The person at the desk is probably sitting 8-10 hours a dayfor years! What is happening? His posture is getting bad, and he makes strnger the to across syndrome what is means scapula stability is getting weaker, chest goes in shoulders forward! This position is very bad for the neck, shoulders and back! Sooner or later the T spine and lumbar spine is getting painful, the neck is gettig sore!
At the other picture someone has a perfect squat what is impoerant movement for life, this position is in the development before a baby stands up and walks! And you can see 100 years old Chinesse or indian people can do the same way! Why? They practicing the squats all the time and not sitting a lot like we do it in the western world! If you sit down 500 times daily you just overwrite the movementspattern of the squats!
Okay but what to do then? Keep practicing the foundational human movements like dead lifts, squats, push, pull, loaded carrying, hips hinge!
Suats with kettlebells is very beneficial because you can use the weight as a counter weight and also very good hips mobilization drill!
