How Paul Revere Can Inspire Us To Be Successful
A thought I just want to share with everyone, I was talking to a friend of mine who told me something interesting after I was telling him about Wealthy Affiliate that it has inspired me to the point I feel the need to share it with everyone
He said he was reading a book (I forget the name) and was telling me about Paul Revere and his midnight horse ride from Lexington To Concord during the American Revolution, warning the locals to brace themselves against the British Invasion...I think he was famous for saying 'The British Are Coming'? being from Ireland I'm not caught up on American History so apologies if I got that wrong...but he became famous in history for that night.
What was interesting was that another man was sent off in another direction to perform the same task, to warn towns and villages about the British Invasion, and performed it just as well, but was never as famous as Paul Revere for doing the exact same thing.
The reason being, my friend said, was because Paul Revere was a people person, a great communicator and a man about town, everybody knew him and he knew everyone. Whilst the other man kept more to himself. He said Revere had a shop that sold silverware I believe? or he was a smith in his trade? but regardless my friend stated that constant communication and networking is the key to success, and he said it can relate to me in my online business adventure.
I think he makes perfect sense, and I got great inspiration from hearing it, I'd love to hear peoples thoughts about it, but after hearing the tale I do feel that communicating and networking and making an effort to know as many people as you can, will benefit you greatly down the line.
