For the newbie-follow, follow, follow

When you are a newbie it can be very challenging for you to keep up with Bootcamp if you don’t have prior internet marketing experience. One of your greatest challenge can be writing review for WA services because you know you can’t BS the community because they have been there done that. So you should follow the patterns of those who have gone before you. Go to the websites of some of the community members; read the contents on those sites and if you’re impress follow their pattern. Watch to see how the content are built around the main keyword and mimic what they do.

The newbie should not allow him or herself to get sidetracked from what sound good on the Internet or from other members in the community. It is better to stay on the path of the straight and narrow with the lessons they are following in Wealthy Affiliate. By following the lessons in WA many of your questions will soon be answered; too much enthusiasm can lead you astray.

Learn, learn, learn

Find your niche and learn everything that you can about it. There are hundreds of tutorials and advice in both WA and on the Internet but not all of them apply to your niche. It can be very difficult to know what training to follow if you have no experience in your chosen field. That is why it’s better to choose a niche from among the skills and experience you have. And if you don’t want to choose a niche from your experience or skills, then choose something that you’re really interested in. it’s always easier to work on something you are excited about than to go through the humdrum of the 9-5…when you choose a niche you have to learn everything that you can about it. Learn about the audience you’re trying to interest in your product or service; learn about the product or service you will be selling. Someone may question you about them and you should have an appropriate answer to give.

Research, research, research

Even if you have experience in your niche you don’t know everything there is to know about it. Imagine a tutorial as a car driving down your street and you take a picture of the car, your tutorial represent that picture of the car. It show the car in the same spot but in reality the car is no longer there. Everything in life is always moving. So what you learn today may not be relevant tomorrow. Therefore, you have to be vigilant with your training. Research it over and over again. Set up Google alerts; this will keep you abreast with what is going on in your industry. Read what the professionals in your industry are talking about, and very importantly, research the keywords that your niche are searching for.

A newbie who have no experience should be brutally honest with him or herself, and realize that they are at the kindergarten stage of their new profession and must learn the ABC of Internet marketing before they can put marketing words together and form internet sentences. They must be patient with themselves and not allow the success of those who have gone before them to build impatient in themselves.

The newbie will take longer than the experience professionals to write web content and blogs. They should not be too hard on themselves. If he or she spend the time to understand, follow, learn, and research their niche they will become a professional eventually.

See you around,

Eric

Great encouragement, Thank you..

Great blog Eric, the more I know, the more I don't know. It is quite the learning curve for me, as I'm sure it is for most. I have never felt so strongly that it will all eventually click with the help of WA.

Challenging indeed for newbies like me with no prior IM experience so thanx alot for your encouraging words, means a lot. Patience is what I'll take on board because the WA tutorials are self explanatory & this whole learning experience is so refreshing!
God bless.

Nicely done and Welcome to WA. I intend to have patience with my learning here at WA. As for the research, that is bit of a work but also done with patience I believe it will be of great help to me in my keyword search. Thanks for info in your post.

Thank you Eric. Good advice for NEWBIES like ME. Two months in and I still feel quite inadequate and sometimes not too intelligent when it comes to this IM stuff. I have to keep reminding myself that I am a newbie, I'm still in the crawling stages of this Internet Affiliate Marketing life. My name is Wayne, not Kyle or Carson. There is still a lot of growth that needs to happen.

So, some say that certain things happen at particular times in a persons life, (All things work together for good), and today you decided to follow me, I came and looked to see what this person is all about and I read this blog and, thus, the reminder. Hope that made sense.

So thank you and, (taking a chance here), God bless you and your family and the best in 2016.

I have read your blogs and the time you put into them is very well appreciated! Thanks for the good info!

Best

Monkey see, monkey do:)

Thanks Loes.
That is my point.
