Membership Renewal
Hi Wealthy Affiliate Family, I have just renewed my premium membership in the community. It has been one year since I joined Wealthy Affiliate, I can't say that my success can be measured in dollars. However, my journey has been very successful because the new skills that I gained from been a member of the community are priceless.
For me there are still new frontier to be discover in affiliate marketing but now that I have acquired some well needed skills, my next emphasis will be monetizing what I have learned.
The challenges for me as a new affiliate marketer were finding new articles for my blogs and blogging frequently (they still are). As newbies we are taught to compare similar products or services to the ones we are promoting, and use this to point out the positive qualities of what we offer.
I believe that one of the drawback to great content creation is not having mastery of the language we use. We are encouraged to keep producing blogs and pages, but for me this is only effective if we’re getting the response we want. My question is this, if our blogs are not successful why should we keep writing, shouldn’t we stop and hone our skills? In my opinion, whatever it is that’s keeping us from success should be rooted out before we move ahead. It will take us longer to succeed but we may discover our winning strategy.
Many of our community members has the skills we need; we need to seek them out and pick their minds. Part of realism is knowing your strength and weaknesses. I have tried not to let my feathers be ruffled by those who claim to be successful within a few months. They all have failures. Their current projects may have taken them a few months to be successful, but it may have taken them many years to see success.
Some of our multinational corporations took centuries to achieve their status, and according to some financial reports it takes the average business three years to break even.
If we really want a business that will serve us in the future, we must take whatever time we need to build it.
Business skills are not given to us by nature they must be nurtured by us and all our partners.
In the coming years I expect to be successful with the help of the members in Wealthy Affiliate, and I pledge to help my fellow members in every way I can.
See you around,
Eric

Thanks for this Eric. I've been getting a bit down lately with apparent lack of progress, but you are right, we are gaining skills and relationships which will deliver in time. Thanks again!
