The BEST Time of Year to Begin a Marketing Campaign

Affiliate Marketing campaigns are crucial to an Affiliates success with online marketing. Everyone that shops during the Holidays, online, are always looking for a bargain. Can you blame them?

As an Affiliate, I don't! I try to bring the target audience what they are looking for the most when they are looking for it.

Black Fridays, Cyber Mondays and Staycation Saturdays (I just made that one up...lol)

have revolutionized the online and in store shopping experience with the best bargains all year long. Although most don't like the hustle and bustle, they still go out to take advantage of those tremendous sales.

There are different types of shoppers in the world.

1. Those that prefer to shop at the mall instead of online.

2. Only online shoppers

3. Prefer to shop online

4. Last minute shoppers that find the bargains, online or offline.

I am a last minute shopper, Myself.

Bargain hunters, hence Comparison shoppers mostly shop online; everyone should know by now, prices are lower online compared to the brick and mortar store.

You can be a last minute shopper and still be a Bargain hunter. Itll just be a more frustrating experience. That's probably what takes me so long, anal retentive, looking for the Best buy.

On a side note, the Best buy chain store isn't always the best buy.

Holidays were only created for Big business purposes,

Affiliates and Marketers must do the research to learn their target market and the best time to create a campaign to sell to those individuals.

As an Affiliate and Comparison shopper, four months before each season is the best time to begin a Marketing campaign.

Many people begin shopping in September for the end of the year Holiday season sales. Others begin thinking about Easter shopping in December or January. And stores display some Summery items as early as March or April. For instance, grilling merchandise or Summer apparel are purchased months before the Summer begins, some grill even in the winter.

With online shopping or at a Halloween outlet, you can order a costume for delivery all year long, so why do most people wait, like me?

In the end, marketing research is leverage;

an Affiliate must always do their research to know what their target market needs and when they need it, for a competitive edge.
