Thank you so much for asking this question because I was just about to ask the same thing. I see that Kyle answered, which is always good to know because it means he pays attention.
So far, I've been doing this all wrong, then! I've been using 2 keywords per post, but now I know I should be focusing on one per post. Thank you!

Do I use my keywords in my post or page? Just trying to figure out which is required to be found by Google.
I say use your keyword strategy for both. Google will crawl both the same way.
I don't think our choice of post vs page is related to SEO. It more about what kind of content you're creating.
