Hi everyone, I am trying to get my about me post up but am struggling. What all should I include? Should it only be related to my website?

I have looked up all the trai

You may write as many words | paragraphs as you like on your “About Me” post. I would elaborate as much as possible. This is the first contact your visitors have with your site, they want to know the founder, what's the site about, can they establish rapport and above all can they trust the site and is it content worthy and user experience friendly. What would be your USP (unique selling point) - Think of it when you walk in a store, what would you like to see and what would your first impression be. If it doesn't hold to your standards you'd leave, same with your about me page, if the visitor doesn't feel at ease, they will click away.

You can also promote WA on your About Me post if you were to choose your own interest / hobby niche. You may then include a paragraph middle of page or towards end, adding few features about the benefits of joining the WA platform and there you can hyperlink your own unique affiliate link which you can fetch via the $ sign top menu.

I have also seen it as custom banners in relation to your niche that says, if you would like so and so niche blog that makes $100 or $1000 or more every month, and fund your blog, click here for free training.

You can customize however suits your blog and test what works and what doesn't.

I keep mines simple..you can always change it. Keep one thing tied in to your niche and if you want to add to that later, cause things always pop up in your mind at random, you can always change it.

Your About Me is just that. A simple introduction to your readers that shares who you are. You just write freely, no need for keywords or keyword research. It's just an article that lets your audience know about you and maybe why you're passionate about the niche you've chosen. It can be a few paragraphs, it can be a page, it can be whatever you want. Nothing to it :)

Hi ashleyp1192
To get a guide on what to write, go to Websites on top navigation menu then go to site content, in the site content look for 5 Template on top menu, you will find the about me template which will give you guidance.

Here are some ideas of what you can include in an About Me Post. Jay, WAs webinar instructor has one in his site standingworkplace.com
