I am not using all of the benefits of the premium membership, in fact, i do not plan to renew at the end of the year. If I go back to to free membership do I still get to keep

Hi - it's not possible to do that.
Once you have been a premium member, you can't downgrade to the free starter package.
If you cancel your subscription, you will be locked out of the platform.
So, if you plan on doing that, you will need to move your website to another hosting provider before you cancel.
Otherwise, it will go offline when your membership ends, and after 60 days, it will be deleted.
