I have Been Busy
Wow! no one ever said building a website will be this time consuming and exciting.
I am actually excited and having sleepless nights trying to get my website up and running. Like A.P.J Abdul Kalam says "Dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep".
I am hoping that by the end of this year, I will be able to run a beta test of the website and then launch fully in January. Being on WA has been very inspirational and creative for me, but one thing I got from WA is "getting up and doing something". I have spent countless time researching what a niche really meant and how to capitalize on the niche to create something meaningful for myself. I got the full gist of it after I joined WA.
So now, I have embarked on my own niche area and decided to come up with a website that enables me to focus on an area am familiar with, carve out my niche in a high competition market and let my dreams bring me to a place of growth and creativity.
My website is a membership based website where employers are able to post a job and allow high quality ("nichely" skilled) individuals bid for jobs. There are many organisation doing this already, upwork, guru, freelancer, people per hour and a host of others. I am not looking to engage in a battle for crowd with competitors, but I have gone ahead to carved a niche for myself within this area. I focused on those who posses the same skill set and professional disposition as myself. I read somewhere on WA that an area with high competition tells you that its an area people are interested in and you only need to find a niche in that area to attract your own crowd.
So by January, if all goes according to plan, I will be launching my site to the public for the first time and would excitedly blog about it. I am also happy to share when I can, updates on how its progressing monthly or quarterly (or as my busy time will permit, its only going to get busier). As per the money part, I wouldn't say its not about the money, right now, its about creating an opportunity for others within my skills set to be seen and to get jobs, in a time when companies are cutting down and people are looking to survive.
I would honestly say am a bit scared about the potential and wondering if I will be able to handle the challenge when growth starts. But am encouraged by words from Ellen Johnson Sirleaf who said "The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough"
So here I go again, back to my dream world working my head out; I cant wait to see it come to live

It does indeed appear as if you have been busy! I would certainly agree with the words of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf ...in fact, I've saved them to serve as a reminder to me. I put it alongside another quote I like..."Dream Big...Aim High!!"
Best wishes to you as you ready the launch of your website. I look forward to viewing it. Best wishes for MUCH success!!
Vince

Those words a very deep and I absolutely agree with the quote "Dream Big....Aim High".
