#4 N00b Procrastination. Pillar Article Writing
Today I created my first Pillar Article. I've been avoiding doing this for about 4 days, procrastinating like its nobody's business. Why? Because i kept repeating "writing is hard. I hate writing. What the hell am I going to write about for 1000 freaking words" Ugh.... but the irony is that when I wrote my first article to put it up on StreetArticles.com, i thought to myself "wow, that was painless and really easy. That was fast. I know that when I write, I write just to write and it came out really easily."
So truth be told, no matter how easy I find it to write, I just didn't feel like doing it. Ugh, but that really the bullsh** I kept telling myself because I simply didnt want to write the Pillar Article. Now that its done, I look back at the 5 hours I spent writing the damn thing and I'm floored. It took me a while because it's my first, but also because I wanted to correct the grammar mistakes, and spelling errors I may have made.
All in all, my super article (which is live on my site, where it should be), is 2361 words long!!!! I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?!?!?! Like where the hell did that come from? It just goes to show you that when you write to provide quality information, words will flow. Honestly, I started this campaign not giving a sh** about this campaign, all I really want is to make money.
But as i got more involved in researching this niche, i realized that there are a lot of people suffering from this ailment and I can really be a light at the end of the tunnel for these people. People can learn something from me. I still aim to make money, but now I know that I can write pretty easily knowing I'm helping others. Doing the research makes writing a lot easier.
I am very proud of myself. And I hope this helps inspire all of you out there. Motivation is a tough thing to have especially when you don't have Clickbank and affiliate checks flying into your mailbox right now. But just keep at it and don't give up. It really does help to write your goals down somewhere you will see it every single day to remind yourself of why you're doing this.

Congratulations, that is a pretty large article even for a pillar article. Since it will be one of your focus articles it should be as clear as possible. I think you have achieved that for most of the page. Add a bit of white space in the What may have happened section. There is a lot of text there that is not easy to scan.
Also, add a bit of border spacing around the pictures.

Great article. I think we all struggle with the writing piece. I try and clear my mind and ask :what am I trying to say". Then write...edit later. Sounds like you're right on!

I think you have just found one of the biggest secrets to success. Taking action. Writing what you know, how you got from point a to point b, is exactly what you need to do. I think you will be amazed how easy writing gets the more you do it. Keep up the good work!

Aaaargh..., I know what you mean by procrastination and that inertia that must be overcome in order to start writing. Great synopsis of how you conquered it. Thanks for sharing.
