Keep a good balance between informing and selling. One niche can have many products, but one site, one niche is a good rule of thumb. Learn the rules first and certainly don't break them if you only have one site. If you want a multi-product, multi-niche site buy a general purpose or non-niche domain name and play around on that. If a site is doing good for you be very careful before you break it! Have fun.
