Yeah, that definitely looks like a new technique for phishing! Basic security is a good thing, don't open attachments you're not expecting, and try not to click links in emails that look suspicious or strange. If you're getting emails from your bank asking you to log in, go to the bank's site by hand, and log in there. Also if the email is in broken English and/or a different language, it's probably a phisher. Lol anyway, that's just my basic security advice. Not that I'm a security expert or anything, I just do what they tell me and it works, hah!
