We have a question in Level 2, Building your Website Classroom! A new website has not indexed, waiting for at least 3 days. Is this normal. Should we contact support?

I think so, Lynnette it took my one site about 2 weeks and my new site now, is still not indexed and it is almost 2 weeks. Don't worry it will get indexed, just keep perfecting it and adding content so it looks even better when indexed. Good luck :)

Thanks Carol!

This all depends on Google. I have about six of post indexed at different times, very quickly I must say. Go ahead and write more relevant content, and add images, graphs and pictures. Google likes plenty of contents.

Thanks, now issue with Front page not showing up in my Edit Page function in Rubix.

I hear people complain about this, but personally got my two websites indexed the same day, in fact a matter of hours. Guess I'm just lucky :)

Thanks Kyle & Loes!

I took them 8 days

This is normal. A new site can take awhile.

To see if you are indexed, go to a Google Search
type the word site and a colon then your url. Any posts or pages that have been indexed will show in the google results.

There is no time frame - but you can speed things up by telling Google fetch your content, when done Google can come a quickly as 1 day. You want to do this with every piece of content you create.

I did a post on how to use the Fetch tool in google webmaster tools - here's the link:

Thanks Leo!
