At lesson 10 in Level 2, My Progress So Far at WA and Future Goals

Hello, my name is Lynne. I have never been self-employed and no one in my family has ever been self-employed to the point of self-sufficiency.

I joined Wealthy Affiliates in November of 2016. I am working on the last lesson in Level 2, lesson 10. This program is easy to follow and friendly people are everywhere 24 / 7. I refer to the hosting of our sites here as “incubation”. Thanks to all who helped and to Kyle for personally helping me to pace myself before using anything like adsense; Carson and Support as well! :)

Progress so far ~

I have:

• 1.Chosen a niche, though it may be too broad
• 2.Created a website, complete with Home page, with 6 other pages parented by this page
• 3.Bought a website domain, redirected to WA
• 4.Created an email account, specific to the new site
• 5.Two posts and one under construction, today, after much research
• 6.Added images from free sites that I am registered on
• 7.Changed to a different template
• 8.Created categories and tags
• 9.SEO added, some of which are still deactivated after changing to the secure SSL
• 10.Added a few SEO back in and checked for ability to still obtain comments
• 11.Obtained about 20 comments, to which I have responded
• 12.Set up Google Analytics
• 13.Indexing and learned how to Fetch each new post and page into Google
• 14.Responded to many in need of help or personal encouragement, reaching the 200 ranking
• 15.Not stopping there, continue to rank higher, by default simply by progressing to ~
• 16.Give comments where asked on other’s sites
• 17.Adding Google + members;
• 18.Converted my little used Instagram to a business profile, adding updated secure site url
• 19.Created profile in Twitter and engaging almost daily
• 20.Changed LinkedIn profile to reflect self-employment, with name and link
• 21.Created a Facebook business page and invited followers

Sales: No sales, not monetized as yet, but feeling good about the interaction with people, becoming visible

Goal is to: This month, obtain a few guest bloggers & loop all social media followers to my site; in March, reach 500 in traffic; in April, establish a sales funnel become monetized and make enough to pay off what I paid for the annual fee + more!

Goal in 6 months: Replace at least half of my income
