Selling a horse?

Hi

Hope you are all having a good day. For a change I will start with a joke.

One day a man was walking in the British countryside, where he sees a farmer leading the most beautiful horse in the world. The horse was big, white and looked very healthy. The man stopped the farmer and asked if the horse is for sale.

The farmer replied "No the horse is not for sale, as he is not looking well".

" Nonsense, it is a fine specimen, I will pay £5000".

The farmer said "No, I cannot accept your money, as he is not looking well".

The man become angry at this, thinking the farmer was holding back for a bigger deal. " This is my final offer, no more, I will give you £10000".

The farmer thought about this and as the man was so desperate, he said "Okay, you can have the horse but he is not looking well".

The man left with the horse, whilst still shaking his head in disbelief.

A week later he passed the same field where he saw the same farmer who was attending his crops. He said " You cad, you sold me a blind horse.".

"There you are I told you he is not looking well".

After the groaning has passed, you may have wondered why I have told you this Joke.

Firstly to make you smile.

Secondly to inform you because something looks good does not mean it will be without fault. How often are we mislead by something we believe will do us good.

Thirdly people often tell us directly but we fail to listen. Communication is a two way street, as it is important to listen as well as talk or write.

We are need to become better communicators.
