Video in Post?
Hello all. Does anyone happen to know where the training is (or if you could just tell me) on how to add your own video to a post that isn't already online? Like say I took a video of something and I want to put the footage within the website article. Any help would be greatly apprectiated. TIA

You are going to want you own YouTube channel! Jay is doing a training on the importance of YouTube on Friday.

I'm familiar with setting up a channel on youtube and I went ahead and did it but thanks for the input!
In your edit post area where the add image or photo is, when you click that you should see a place that say add video.
It only says Drag and Drop Image here or Upload manually and when I try to upload manually, it will let me click on a video but then says to choose another file type and they only accept .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, and .png
Ok sorry, yes I have this same issue. The only way I can upload my own video is to upload it to YouTube and then embed it for there. After embedding it from YouTube it works fine.
I dont want to have to make a youtube channel just so I can use an 18 second video lol. Maybe its the only though
So far that's the only way I can get mine to work. Maybe someone else can pitch in and have a different solution. Best of luck.
how do you embed the youtube video to play on the post rather than having the viewers have to click a link to see the video?
There is a training class here in Wa for it. When you are in YouTube on the video you can either click and highlight the link up top or in the bottom right corner under video where it says share. Click the share bottom and it shows a short link. Just copy and paste that link on your website. Your website will display the video not the link once it's published.
Thanks! I tried "adding a link" as if you were doing the affiliate links and it just showed the link not the video lol. But I have it covered now. Thanks for your help!
