Pandemic Strands Me Away From My Family Living in US for the Last 15 months.
I had left my home 36 years back for my higher education at US.
It is a rare opportunity to stay this length of time with my family which I always call home. I will make the story short.
What Has not Changed
Pandemic sun rise is still the same. This picture doesn’t care for Covid contraction.
I love farming and Ayurveda (my bio).
Let me give you a glimpse of my pandemic puzzles 2020.
We Planted and Revived Multiple Herbs and Plants
- The Magnificent Moringa - It is pharmacy by itself
The first plant we put ( with my brother and SIL) on the ground is 11 small moringa plant stems in May 2020. This was donated from one of our farmer neighbours whose big moringa tree fell on the ground with a wind.
Now it looks like this. It has flowers.
We have so many leaves we distributed to many of our friends and relatives. It is having flowers now. We hope to get some pod.
It is naturally organic and can grow with very little water.

We Planted Vegetables and Leaf Greens: Sampling
From top to bottom: Hot Chili peppers, string beans, eggplant, radish, elephant squash and cauliflowers

We Live by Ayurveda Style of Living
I was off when I was at US. However, back home I tried to be with my family. This will be brief again.
Our mornings: wake up -4:30 am yoga, pranayam
Drink water which is prepared with bagel, black tulsi, neem etc. it can be different each day.
The Hesthy Green Juice: all leaf green Ayurveda recommends. I show you in my part 2.
These are drinks in the morning and we drink water in copper pots. Filtered water is saved in clay pot for cooking and drinking
We eat mostly from our farm. The fruits, veggies, leaves are only grown with organic manure grown by us and we never use any pesticides.
