Hi Ann!

It is important to set goals that are realistic and attainable. However, you have to take the necessary actions to make them a reality.

Once you are willing to put in the time and effort to complete the training and implement the knowledge and skills to get your business up and running, you sure can achieve your financial goals that you have set for yourself.

"There's no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen. " -Wayne Dyer

Much success on your journey here at WA!

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate.

Great goals here. The training will help you understand how this works so you can gauge how much time you want to spend to achieve your goals. With your determination to do the training and to apply it, you will be amazed at how much you can achieve.

WA is a very friendly, helpful and active community. We like to help new comers achieve success. The Online Entrepreneur Training which is a self-managed program. You can do it at your pace. When you have questions, you can ask them in the comments section after each lesson.

Now that you've outlined your goals, you can start working towards them. Remember that this is a journey and not a destination.

There is a lot of work ahead, so the more effort that you put in, the more you will achieve.

As Kyle (one of the owners) likes to say - success is very cumulative in nature.

Every action you take will add up to much greater success. I can tell you that when you earn your first money, it will all become very REAL and it will lead to much more success.

The more time you can spend working through the training here at Wealthy Affiliate, the sooner you will have the foundation that you can build upon.

As you build your online business remember the 4 Step Process. It is the successful framework for any online business.

Step 1: Choose your niche
Step 2: Build your website/content
Step 3: Get rankings in search engines (leads to traffic)
Step 4: Monetize your traffic (the make money part, through affiliate programs signing up for and adding affiliate links to your posts)

We wish you much success in your online journey.

Remember never look down at anyone,
unless you're helping them up!
It only takes a moment to show some love,
and it will make their day so much better.
So be kind and helpful, it's what we're meant to do,
and remember to look up to the ones who need help too.

All the best

Hi Ann, thank you for following me, and a very warm welcome to my network of entrepreneurs. One of the things that I love about Wealthy Affiliate is the friendly community.

I know in my early days I felt overwhelmed and although I was learning heaps, I felt a little alone. But many people offered support and encouragement here.

Building your own network here will help you learn skills about community and social interactions which you can use in your business. Make sure you don’t spend all your time with the community, you need to be doing lessons and creating lots of content for your website. Your business will bring you money and the community will feed your soul.

Wishing you great success in your business. If you are still thinking about which niche you should choose this tutorial may help you. Warm Regards,

Lily

Howzit Ann,

Many thanks for the Follow and happy to reciprocate.

If there is one thing I regret in my life, it's not staying in South Africa, but then, on the other hand, I would not be the person I am today if I had stayed.

I'm originally from Rivonia (Sandton), then Umhlanga, before leaving the beautiful, but messed up Continent that is Africa for the colder, but still beautiful (in its own way) Country of England.

My Dad used to build ocean-going yachts in Germiston (round the corner from Springs). But that is a #LifetimeAgo.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life and no matter which path you take, you are going to make a success of it because you are a part of the WA community.

Good luck with your online journey and look forward to reading about your successes here.

Regards,

Chris

Hi Chris!
Yes, although it is a bit "messy" this side of the world, I do just love the beauty that SA holds. Being in the Bushveld does my heart and soul good.
Thanks for the follow! And the best wishes.

Greetings Ann

Hello Ann, welcome to the WA family.

I can attest to the impact of not having access to electricity. Being situated right on the border between SA and Lesotho with no cellphone signal, when there is no electricity there is also no access to the satellite internet connection.

Every so often, you have to post new content as part of the training tasks. What I have done to overcome is to do my keyword research well in advance and when I am stuck with not having access to the platform, I draft the layouts for my next posts, list specific images needed, as well as flag any topics that are in need of research.

Once back online, I quickly search and download the info and save to my laptop as that battery lasts longer than the UPS connected to my desktop. When load shedding strikes, I return to my laptop and fill in the blanks.

Not perfect, but at least all is not lost.

Wishing you success here at WA.
Blessings

Hi Johan,
I can relate to the loadshedding! Very frustrating at times.
Thanks for the tip, will surely keep it mind, us South-Africans have to think out the box most of the time.
Greetings
