Recording videos using MacBook Pro for use on youtube

I'm not so sure why I was having such an obstacle about using my MacBook Pro to shoot and record video. With a little googling I discovered the missing piece was PhotoBooth, which needs to be selected in iMovie to actually do the recording.

The point is that none of this is rocket science, but what it DOES require is persistence and sharing what we've discovered. I think that the value of community is the wealth of knowledge that we all bring to the table--
