2000 words Post is Achievable

Writing quality content for a perfectionist like me is quite a challenge, it never seems to be good enough all the time.

Background

When I started this journey of creating content for my site beginning of this year, I was so afraid that I may not have enough words to write on one article. I was used to less than 500 words articles and essays.

The Best thing is I followed my passion; something that I can talk about even when I am asleep. My goal was to get to 1000 words per article. I effortlessly achieved this with my shortest article having approx 800 words.

But I always got so amazed by those who were able to do more than 1500 words per article and I wondered what exactly they were writing about that could carry all those words.

My Achievements

As I grow in my passion, for every topic that I come up with, I get more words to say. Sometimes I get so carried away and type on and on.

So recently I made it to 2000 words and beyond to the extent I had to break up the article to two because the topic was getting longer and longer with every paragraph (It was actually 2400 words).

This is one article that I had so much fun writing, because am passionate about the topic and niche. Though the article took longer to be indexed on google as compared to my other shorter articles, this did not deter me from celebrating this present achievement.

My Encouragement

Never limit yourself in what you can achieve if you set yourself to it. We always set ourselves short just because we have failed before and fear to fail again. Sometimes it takes believing in yourself even when no one else believes in you.

We all have different paths and pace, so it might take you long to achieve a 2000 word article while it's a walk in the park for someone else. Do not be discouraged, walk your own path at your own pace per your set goals.

Let us also learn to share our achievements no matter how small, you never know who is in the same situation as you and is in need of this kind of words.
