The Power of why.
Every so often we find ourselves doing things and never once stop to think the reason why we do them. I have come to realize, how a simple term like why? can mean the difference between failure and success. Many people have in the past always reiteriated to me as to why i had to understand my why before i can actually achieve real success. It really is a must you understand the term as i have come to find out . One may pose a question why do i want more money ? so I can pay my bills. Before i really understood the word myself, i would have said that is a very regitimate reason to have more money. Which in some sense it is as many of us when we seek success we, are either looking for better life, or other forms of satisfaction but there is way more than just paying off your bill. You have paid your bill you still have more money left then what?
The way i look at my why, it ties in with other important aspects of my life for example purpose and happiness. At least my why should be able to address some of this questions in my life. To have a life worth living it got to have a purpose otherwise it will just be survivng. In ones life you ought to thrive that's one of the reason one cannnot base a why as a short term goal it has to be ever present whenever you think of a successful life. I had the priveledge to visit a group of people over the weekend , and was so excited to go to this place and looked forward to it all week. I can honestly say i was very dissapointed as it dawned on me even simple things we do on daily basis we aught to research and search within us to find out whether do we have that understanding of why we are at certain places or is it just out of habit? The WHY has to be your go to tool before starting on any endevour.

that is very true even you feel like not today, once you go back to your mind and realize why you are doing it. it energizes you and pushes you to keep moving forward.
I can relate to this. In our life, we have so many why questions, and for me, this is what keeps me going, realizing that I have many goals to attain for my family.

Yes, I get it... Why wasn't I born with a silver spoon in my mouth? Why didn't my mother marry somebody other than my father, like a neurosurgeon? Why haven't I won the lottery? Do you mean like that ???

Asking why? Is a great question, One can learn a lot about themselves and the people around them their past their future asking why? Your post was very thought-provoking.

My why has changed over the years as my children grew up and out, it's way different in many aspects now. Interestingly though my purpose of helping others is still a major focus of mine.
This is why I do things with not expecting anything in return. The satisfaction is my encouragement. Seeing the good results.
You write very well and should write more here, but perhaps you do on your website.

thanks Bill for the response, and the encouragement. Its amazing how as time passes you keep finding why you do what you do. Two years ago, my why was very different . To be honest, i don't think i even had one, i just knew i had to wake every morning, go to work and the same cycle begins the next day. Pretty much doing what EVERYONE else was doing but once you realize you have a purpose , things start getting more clearer. I will definitely write more .
