Hey guys, are any of you making money on your website yet? I need to know before I go further with this?
Thank you,
Anita Dixon
Yes I have made a little bit and it is my own fault that I have not made more. There is people in W.A. that are making a lot of money. One thing I have come to realize is that success = money not money = success. When you get a successful website up and going with a lot of traffic the money will follow. Best of luck to you.
Many people here have. I have made a decent amount but I have not been giving my site the attention it needs so I'm missing out on a lot more.

Hi Anita,
Plenty of WA members are creating income with their websites through promoting WA and/or other affiliate products (or even their own products).
You can scroll down on your WA dashboard and read "Success is Happening at Wealthy Affiliate".
There's plenty of excellent training and support here to help you find the success you're looking for.
Good luck with your new online business! :)

You have all the right answers here. There are plenty of people making money with their websites. Everyone will have their own timing. traffic also plays a part in it too. No traffic = no money.
You must create high-quality content. A video you may want to watch is by Kyle. It's one of the best webinars The 7 Factor “Secret Sauce”

What companies will we be able to access products from to sell on our websites, and how much per each will they pay...and does WA get a cut of that? And how long does it take
These are all questions that will be answered in the training. I highly recommend you follow it and perform all the steps within.
That said, here's a quick overview to answer your questions:
There are many many affiliate programs out there. Companies like Nike, Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and so on all offer an affiliate program and, through them, you can offer any product or service they do.
Each affiliate program has its own commission and payout structure. WA does not get a cut of your affiliate commissions.
You continue to pay the WA membership fee for as long as you want to keep your account here at WA. I highly recommend going annual as the saving is substantial. You can even save more by taking advantage of the Black Friday deal later this year. I went monthly at first (because I didn't have the money up front for the annual option) but then when annual in month 3 and then took advantage of the Black Friday option in November.
Hi - according to your profile, you haven't yet built your website or completed the first level of training, which answers many of your questions.
There are literally tens of thousands of companies which have affiliate programs including Amazon. You will need to find the ones which match the niche you have chosen and the products you wish to promote and then apply to join them.
Commissions vary from as low as 5% up to 75% and are yours to keep, WA does not take a cut of it.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, it takes time, effort and patience. Building your website is the first step, and then you will need to add content to it to attract potential customers.
The fee of $49 per month is recurring, but you can cancel any time.
Your membership (is monthly or yearly) and is how WA makes money plus they will pay you if you decide to promote them to others. As far as companies, there are affiliate programs for most of them. It will be your responsibility to research what is the best fit for your website. Trial and error with feedback from the community.
As far as how long it will take depends entirely on you and how fast you learn, if you're willing to ask questions and how much risk you like to try taking.
Eric
There are 1000's of companies that offer affiliate programs, the commissions will vary from a few percent to fifty percent as a general rule.
WA does not get a cut of your affiliate commissions this is split between the company and yourself.
Affiliate commission payments again vary but if you work on a 30 day holding period.
If you are serious about building your business I would look at going to a yearly membership this would reduce the amount pro rata.
