Ever since I started imagining which areas of digital marketing would fit different Off Campus characters, Garrett Graham immediately felt PPC-coded to me.

As much as I love Hannah Wells for SEO, Garrett feels like her complete opposite when it comes to marketing strategy.

If Hannah is the long term planner, Garrett seems like the person who wants results now.

For anyone unfamiliar with PPC (Pay Per Click marketing), it is essentially paid advertising where businesses pay when someone clicks on their ad. You usually see this through Google Ads , sponsored Instagram posts , TikTok ads , or Youtube advertisements . The goal is often quick visibility and immediate traffic, rather than waiting months for organic growth. This feels very Garrett-coded to me.

He has always come across as confident, competitive , and very goal-oriented . He is not really someone who seems patient enough to sit around waiting for something to maybe work eventually . I feel like he would want to see results quickly and constantly optimise things to perform better.

Personally, I think one of the biggest things Garrett would prioritise is attention. If people are scrolling, he would want content that immediately stops them. Stronger hooks , clear messaging , bold visuals and ads that get straight to the point is something he would focus on. Nothing overly complicated or confusing- just:

"Here's why it matters, click it."

I also know that Garrett would care about performance also. The competitive side of him feels like the type to constantly check analytics , click through rates , and conversions just to see what is working better . If an ad was underperforming, I cannot imagine him just leaving it there and hoping for the best. He would probably test for different headlines , visuals or audiences until something performed better.

At the same time, I think Garrett would understand that confidence matters in advertising . PPC often only gives brands a few seconds to grab attention, especially on social media. I feel like his style would be very direct and persuasive without overcomplicating things.

What I also found interesting is that Garrett would probably not hate SEO , but I think he would definitely get impatient with how long it takes . PPC feels much more aligned with his personality because there is immediate feedback. You launch something , see what works, adjust it and compete for better results.

Overall, if Garrett Graham worked in PPC advertising , I think he would focus on visibility, performance , confidence and fast results. Which honestly feels very-on brand for someone who treats everything a little bit like competition.
