Oh look, Anisha isn't stopping with her Off Campus obsession anytime soon and is now creating marketing concepts based on the characters.
Well- that's true.
At this point, I've written about enough digital marketing topics that I figured , why not combine them with one of my favourite TV series?
The reality is that I don't want my Wealthy Affiliate blog to sound like a textbook or , even worse a university lecture. There are already plenty of websites that explain marketing that way, and while that is helpful, it's not really me.
I want to talk about marketing in a way that's fun, creative , and usually keeps people reading. So if that means imagining what area of digital marketing Hannah Wells, Garrett Graham, Dean DiLaurentis , John Logan, Beau Maxwell and the rest of the Off Campus crew would work in , then that is exactly what I am going to do.
Marketing is everywhere, even in random thoughts that pop into my head when I watch my favourite TV show. Besides , if I'm already spending an unhealthy amount of time thinking about Off Campus, I might as well turn it into content.
Now, on to Beau
As I've continued assigning different areas of marketing to Off Campus characters, Beau Maxwell immediately felt like someone who would thrive in Youtube marketing. Not because he seems like the loudest person in the room or the type to constantly chase trends. Actually, I think it is exactly the opposite.
When I think about Beau, I think about someone who seems thoughtful , observant and intentional. He feels like the kind of person who would focus on creating meaningful content rather than constantly trying to go viral. That mindset reminds me of YouTube.

While platforms like TikTok and Instagram often move quickly , YouTube feels different. People are now willing to spend more time watching a video learning something new , or following a creators journey. Because of that, creators often have more opportunities to build stronger connections with their audiences.
Personally, I think one of the biggest things Beau would prioritise is storytelling.
Whether he was creating educational content , reviews , tutorials or personal videos, I imagine he would focus on keeping audiences engaged through strong narratives rather than relying on flashy edits or trends .
He feels like the type of creator who would want viewers to stay because they genuinely enjoy the content.
I would also think Beau would understand the importance of consistency.
One thing I have noticed about successful YouTube creators is that many of them build trust over time. People return because they know what to expect and enjoy the creator's style.
That feels very Beau-coded to me.
He doesn't strike me as someone who would constantly reinvent himself for attention. Instead, I think he would focus on creating quality content that reflects who he actually is.
Another reason I placed Beau in YouTube marketing is because YouTube often rewards patience.
Unlike some social media platforms where content disappears quickly, YouTube videos can continue attracting viewers months or even years after they are published. I feel like Beau would appreciate that long-term approach because he seems more focused on lasting impact than immediate attention.
At the same time, I think Beau would care about audience loyalty more than vanity metrics.
Of course, views and subscribers matter, but I imagine he would be more interested in building a community of people who genuinely enjoy his content rather than chasing numbers for the sake of it.
What I find interesting is that YouTube marketing often combines several areas of digital marketing at once. Content creation, storytelling, branding, SEO, audience engagement, and community building all play a role.
Thinking about YouTube marketing through Beau's personality made me realise how much success on the platform comes from consistency and connection rather than simply following trends.
Overall, if Beau Maxwell worked in YouTube marketing, I think he would focus on storytelling, audience loyalty, consistency, and long-term growth. Which honestly feels very Beau because he seems like someone who would care more about creating meaningful content than chasing short-term attention
