After thinking about which areas digital marketing fit different Off Campus characters , Allie Hayes immediately felt very email marketing-coded to me.
At first, email marketing might sound random for Allie, especially compared to louder areas of marketing like social media or paid advertising . However, the more I thought about it , the more it actually made sense .
To me, Allie feels like someone who naturally values connection. She comes across as warm, emotionally aware , relatable and very people focused.

Instead of caring about numbers or quick results, I feel Allie would care about building trust with an audience overtime , which honestly feels very email marketing.
Unlike social media , where content moves quickly and people scroll within seconds, email marketing feels more personal. Brands are entering someone's inbox , which means people usually expect content to feel relevant, useful, or at least worth opening.
Personally, I think one of the biggest Allie would prioritise is making emails feel human . Instead of robotic subject lines, or overly sales-focused marketing , I can imagine her wanting emails to sound conversational and genuine . The kind of emails that feel like someone is actually talking to you instead of shouting BUY THIS RIGHT NOW!!!
I also think Allie would care about timing and understanding what people actually want. She feels like the type to think: "Would I actually open this?" rather than sending emails just for the sake of it.
She probably would not overwhelm audiences with constant promotions or spammy emails. Instead, I think she would focus on mixing useful content, updates , recommendations , and occassional promotions in a way that feelss valuable to readers.
At the same time , I think Allie would understand that trust matters. Once people stop trusting emails or feel overwhelmed , they unsubscribe quickly . I imagine she would care more about long-term relationships than short-term clicks.
What I find interesting is that email marketing actually feels much more relationship focused than people expect. Thinking about it through Allie's personality made me realise that it is not only about sending emails , but also about understanding how people want to be communicated with.
Overall, if Allie Hayes worked in email marketing, I think she would focus on trust , relatability, timing, and building a real audience relationship . Which honestly feels very Allie Hayes to me
