Confused about posting Amazon ads on my site !

I think I am doing well ever since I joined WA. Slowly, I made my own websites and then decided to focus on one of my niche. The subject of my website is more like guiding people for better health. After taking training of monetizing website, I created my account on Amazon but got confused about what products to select and why to select them ? Sometimes I wonder as this is winter season here will it be logical to post products catering seasonal needs, may be clothing? then I thought why not electronic goods? which might offer me high profit margins, why I would display cheap products on my site, what products are trending, I need to know. All these set of questions creating confusion in my mind. I hope it will be resolved soon.
