Visitors to Subscribers

Hi All!
So, my blog has been up for a little over a month now. Here are my stats: 17 posts, 849 views, 308 visitors, 3 subscribers.
How do I raise my subscriber level? I feel like I should be getting more. I was looking into creating a free report but that might take me some time as I don't know what to create a report on.
So, anything else I can do while I'm working on my report? Layout, more content, etc.?
