Breaking Boundaries is LIVE!
Hey all! So very happy and excited to say Breaking Boundaries is finally up and running. I publicized the site 2 days go and, so far, it has 98 views and 20 visitors through 5 posts and 5 pages. I'm not even sure if that's good or bad, but I'm just really grateful that something I've thought about for a long time (but have been hesitant to pursue) has manifested.
It's a baby site so it only has a few posts but I plan on doubling it by this weekend. We'll see. I don't want to just sprout out nonsense for quantity; I actually want to provide value.
Highlight so far: 1 subscriber and 1 prospective client. I'm not sure if I should take the client on, though, because the article he wants is out of my scope but it might be a good challenge and experience for me. I'm still a little unsure about how much I should charge because I didn't think this far, to be honest. I set my goal to make my first affiliate commission check by month 6, but I didn't even consider that someone might be interested in me writing an article for their site and actually getting paid for it. I've googled whether "freelance" writers should take on project topics they don't know about and people have mostly said it should be fine as long as I do research. What's your take on this? (Although I don't consider myself a freelance writer, it might be something I can get into.)
I'd like to thank Kyle, Carson, and the Wealthy Affiliate community. All of you have been so helpful and encouraging and welcoming. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress and hopefully I'll be a success story, too! (Just started on Course 3 :D )
