I think your niche and overall idea is great, but this is a pretty competitive area. However, with loads on content, I feel like it could be a great success!

I use pagecloud at the moment to create sites and wonder whether this can be used within the premium membership or do I need to use Rubix (which sounds similar).

I may not be the best source but there are a number of training or blogs here on that subject. The following link may help How To Transfer Domain Name To WA If that doesn't help go to the search field above and start typing "transfer domain " and one of those should work. You can pretty much transfer any domain to this hosting site
