Holy Sht Batman!
I don't know about you but sometimes life can really throw shit at you and if you're not careful it can knock you on your arse real quick.
I am a creature of habit. I like to say I don't mind change but if I'm really honest here, I can be really stubborn and resistant to it.
The problem with that is - to move forward and and improve in your business, things have to change. They need to improve.
One of the hardest things for me is starting new 'good' habits.
That's why I am quite surprised that I am on day 10 of a new habit I started.
A friend of mine was telling me about something called Artist Pages. Basically what you do is you write in a journal every day.
You take a few minutes each morning to compose yourself or meditate or whatever you do. For me it's get that first cup of coffee.
Then you just write, a literal 'brain dump'. You don't think about what you will write, you just write each and every thought that comes into your head until you have filled 3 pages.
You even write those silly thoughts like 'I don't know what to write' !
And guess what? It friggin works!
Usually by page 3 I have figured out my plan for the day and even sometimes come up with some pretty good ideas to implement.

This sounds incredible. There was something in a business class that I took last year that was very similar to this.
I carry a small notebook with me at all times. I can get easily distracted by "shiny" objects and end up going down a lot of wormholes. With my little notebook, the shiny object gets written down for later research and I can stay focused on my current task. Then , each morning I start by filtering my brain dump from the day before, putting the legit items on the day's to do list, everything else is either earmarked for a later date or simply trashed. I definitely agree that starting the day by organizing it is the way to go!

I think it is a great idea Angela. I tried starting but taking care of 5 month old twins alone by myself without any help, and working at the same time, hardly making ends meet has proven to be quite the challenge. I literally dont have time for myself. None. Zero. Zip. It is hard. I wish I had help. I have not been able to log into WA due to this. Trying to hang in here. I know it can be done, I just have to find the way.
I was a single mom for 18 years but I only had one. I can only imagine the challenges you deal with!
It is hard and as I'm sure you know - having a routine is a major help in keeping your own sanity.
I definitely won't be doling out any advice ;) because I know from experience that you have to find what works for you.
Just take one day at a time :)
