Week 3 Update

Alright, I have to start out by saying that I absolutely love love, LOVE, the Image Studio here. I love that I can insert a picture and tell it how I would like it to be modified and 90% of the time it gets it correct.

That being said, on to our regularly scheduled broadcast.

Now, taking into consideration that I had posted last Wednesday, and today is Monday, that is only a span of 5 days. People must really be on Pinterest a lot during the weekend, because my stats from there skyrocket, while my actual traffic on my website decreased. I am still in the marinate phase, or at least what I am hoping is the marinate phase. I might need to watch the long-term Pinterest Plan video again to see if I am skipping anything I should be doing.

One thing that I have noticed as I've looked at my Pins, is that the Scout pins are getting the most traffic. I know they are fundamental to getting the start to driving traffic, but man how I wish I had my link associated with those pins and even getting a fraction of the traffic.

Good things to those who wait I guess. I am looking forward to how this will all turn out. I am now 31 days into my website being up and 29 days into my Pinterest account being active.

I am still doing 2-3 posts a week, with corresponding boards and pins on Pinterest for each post. I don't plan on changing anything in the foreseeable future but am looking forward to seeing some increase of traffic on my site.

This marinating phase is difficult because you put in all this effort and work, and you don't see much return. But I believe that it is coming. I have mixed my marinade and added my meats and veggies. I know the long it marinates, the better the flavor and end presentation. I just have to be patient.
