Week 2 1/2 Update on Pinterest Growth

Alright, so I am about 5 days overdue for my week 2 update... so this is week 2 1/2 update on how my personal experiment to Pinterest is proceeding. To be fair, my family celebrated Easter, my son's 7th birthday, and my husband an I's anniversary this past weekend, so it was quite a bit busy for all of us.

Here is where things are today with how this is going.

I have been doing 2 articles a week. 5-10 scout pins per board (per post), and 20 scheduled pins, half TOBIs and half just pictures.

First, here is the Pinterest analytics as of today:

I think this is pretty good considering that I created the Pinterest account for this website on the 14th of March. So, a little under a month ago. Still not seeing much by way of traffic going to my site, but as Jay says, it's marinating.

There was initial interest when I first started posting, possibly because I put out close to 25 articles within the first 10 days to get this little experiment off the ground. That's alright, I am average ranking 9th for my keywords, so I am very good with that as this site is also less than 30 days old.

Right now, I am staying the course, watching and waiting. I am loving to see how the pins do; what works and what doesn't. I almost feel like it should require more work, but so far, it's just sailing along.
