From Zero to Hero
This is my first WA site. I just started today and am still going thru the free training. I have looked around on the WA site a bit but have not really explored it in depth yet.
I really want to know how long it takes to get a site up and running with some content, and then how long until it is ranked, then how long until the first money comes in.
So far, I have my site up and running. I have created my ABOUT ME and PRIVACY POLICY post and page on day 1. Now to get thru some more training and find some products to advertise. I'm not sure where that comes into the free training, but I am looking forward to it.

Excellent post by Grace. Too bad WA doesn't offer the $19 for your first 6 months. I would have signed up for that already. I am on a very limited income and I started this to change that.
If I am not wrong, you can go for $19 offer, only take this offer, don't go for a six-month offer directly and when you are at the end of your $19 offer, you can then take on the six-month offer.

You can join WA as a starter member for free, you have 7 days to go premium, if you wish to for a one time offer of $19, just for a month, that way you will be able to see how WA works:)
From then onwards, you can choose any plan which is suitable for you!
But once you go premium, you can't go back to your stater membership:)
There is no pressure to go premium, take your time and when you are completely sure of premium, go for it!

Hi - it is up to you as to how long it takes to add content, ideally, you should be adding 2 or 3 posts every week.
The first step is getting your site indexed by Google, which takes around a week or so. You will get an email when this happens. Ranking is a lot further down the road.
Realistically, you are unlikely to see any income for at least 3 months, and probably more like 6 months.
It's a never-ending task, your website is never really finished. Regular content is what attracts Google's attention to ensure you rank highly. You need a mix of purely informational articles, plus reviews, which will have your affiliate links.

Everything takes time and lots of work. You wouldn't go to university and expect to get a degree in a week and you need to consider this when building an online business.

If funds are short spend the time you need doing the free training and check out everything you can and get good posts happening so that when you do join you will be a lot closer to your goals.
