Who needs some Monday motivation?

Monday.

Ugh.

What does Munday mean to you? Is it the start of another week of grinding 9 to 5 at that job you need but really don't like? Another identical week of the same commute, thankless tasks and co-workers you can't stand?
For far too many people it is, but it doesn't have to be.

Everybody wants to be financially free. That is, having an income to support you which doesn't rely on you working for somebody else. The freedom to go and do anything that you want without having to worry about your boss and where the next rent payment is coming from.
For most people, financial freedom just remains a dream. They never do anything positive to actually reach it - buying a lottery ticket doesn't count! This is where things are different at Wealthy Affiliate.
My goal, and I imagine many people share this, is to create an extra income through affiliate marketing. It's impossible to predict how well it's going to go. Even if I were to only make a few hundred dollars a month, I would be absolutely delighted with that. The dream is to make enough that I can one day retire early. Wouldn't that be something!
Just by being here you have already taken a massive step along that road. Maybe you've been doing this for years and you're already making 4 or even 5 figures every month. If so, that's awesome and it shows what can be done. For many of us, though, that seems like a faraway dream - something almost impossible.

You have achieved more than you realise

If you are in that position where you are just starting out and have made little or no money from your site yet, I want you to take a moment. Just think about what you have done so far. Look at your progress so far in the training and the tasks you have completed. Maybe you've already created your site and written some posts. You may even have started to get some clicks and sales.
Whatever you have achieved so far here Wealthy Affiliate - be proud. You have done so much more than the overwhelming majority of people will ever do to reach their financial goals. Most people will just sit at home complaining, thinking that it's only a few special and lucky people who were able to successfully earn money online.
They are completely wrong!

Wealthy Affiliate is a community of ordinary people who achieve extraordinary things by following the training, using the tools and being part of this great community.
So before you get down, before you compare yourself to people who have been in this game for years, before you think about giving up and that you're not good enough - stop and look at your achievements already. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
