Why Premium?
Decided to go premium.
Disclosure: I was a premium a few years ago. I had the wrong mindset.
I was looking to make money, but was so focused on that, that I hadn't thought about what I was going to offer.
This time round, I'm here, not to make create a new business. I'm here to create a new website for my existing local business - www.thegreensqueegee.info (will be transferring that URL over as soon as my new site via SiteRubix is ready).
This platform is just so bloody good (I am a Brit :-) ) that it doesn't matter what your goal here is, the tools are, without exception, the most powerful in the industry.
I built that website (above) off a free template and then raw coded. As a local business, I'm already at the top of page 1 for the only search term that makes sense 'Tewkesbury Window Cleaner' thanks to Google Places.
So why invest in Premium here?
The one thing I gained from exploring the 'online business' scene was a realisation that:
1. Fortunes are not easily made.
2. Fortunes are available to everyone online
3. Just as in RL, people only respond to people they trust!!
That's why people don't buy at the door anymore. They go to a store, website, or call someone that they trust.
You have to concentrate on your passion. You can only talk about something your passionate about enough to have people come back to you.
Never, never, do a sales pitch. Let a link or banner do that work.
Only seek to share your passion. If that results in some recompense, then all is good. It surely will if you are true.
To (paraphrase) quote the great Mr Covey - 'Principles before Profit'

Being a premium member gets you so much information to become successful and you work hard with a niche that you are passionate about and that builds trust in the community and public. That is why people buy from stores that we know because we trust them.
