Bit surprised to see you write here though, without being able to login.. I mean last time I had that problem I couldn't login at all.
For not being able to login at all through the popup / login button on front page try
1) deleting cache and cookies on your browser settings and try again
or
2) resetting your browser settings entirely (this will likely deactivate any installed browser plugins), this worked for me the last time it happened.
Not really sure if that is what you are experiencing though, so not sure if my solution will help you.

The problem seems to be with Google Chrome. Switched to Microsoft Edge and the problem went away.
With Chrome I'm not able to login with the popup button. But when being directed from my e-mail Link I would get in. And even then the popup sometimes would rear its ugly head and block me out. I will try your suggestion.
Thanks
Well exactly, I used chrome. When I reset the browser, it resolved all those issues... bit annoying to lose a lot of settings, but well.. Chrome is lately a bit unstable with all these extra additions. Seems to run better without them.

Some companies are not up to with the play so they can be unaware of the potential benefits.
There are a host of reasons, as managing an affiliate program is far more complicated than you might imagine. There are responsibilities for tracking, affiliate management, payment, processing, returns, and countless other things.
Perhaps the products you want to promote are available from another source, such as an online department store like AliExpress.com, or a specialty store like ValuePetSupplies.com (since you are showing a puppy!). Consider alternatives always.
Does not an affiliate network as opposed to an in-house program take most of the burden of maintenance off the outlet's shoulders?
Yes, that's what networks do. Some companies think they can do it themselves and start an in-house program. Some companies don't have enough margin to pay a commission to affiliates and pay the override to a network. It's still work for the merchant too, like approving affiliates, monitoring tracking, approving transactions, and some are just not prepared to take that on.
Did not realize there was that much work for the merchant even with a network. Thanks for clearing that up.
It definitely takes more time than you'd think. A minimum of one third of an employees time would barely cover the basics.
Hey Andrzel,
If I have understood your question correctly... those companies who do not offer affiliate programs make enough money through advertising thus they have no need for setting up an affiliate program.
Setting up an affiliate program is not only time consuming, the owner would then need to set up and maintain an affiliate monitoring system. Though paying affiliates would be like paying for advertising.
Hope this helps you.

I had a quick look and could not see any affiliates for wood either. Have you considered looking for affilate schemes for products that those buying Hardwood might also be buying.?
After a little more digging around I did find companies that would cater to my niche. Lowe's Canada,Shop Woodworking,Rockler Woodworking, just to name a few and I'm finding others. Some of them engage everal affiliate networks.
