Meditation - Give it a go
Hi everyone, I have been think about what has made the biggest difference to my life in recent months. I though long and hard because there have been so many. Believe me I needed to make some changes so here is what can happen when you decide to get disciplined.
I had a friend show up to show me a business opportunity in the health and wellness industry in January this year. My wife and I loved what we saw and immediately opened our shopping account. Not going to go into that right now but it got me thinking about my health and general state of mind.
So here's what happened next. I made a decision about a week later to start looking after myself much better and it all started from there.
1. I now exercise everyday. - This started where I am now.
2. I sleep at least 7 hours a day - Very important
3. I meditate everyday - This has truly changed my life
4. My wife and I have a business that gives us a residue income every month
5. I spend actual present time with my kids.The best time of all.
6. We have had an all expenses paid for trip to 5 star resort. First time ever.
7. I sold my business and I just work their now. No stress very cool.
8. I am doing a course to become a Life coach and get certified and loving it.
9. I have a goal to be working full time form home within 6 months and it is within reach.
10. I started a new website site called successafter50.org and am making good progress.
11. My ranking on WA has come from 3000 to under 800 in just the last 3 weeks. I have a plan to be in the top 100 by the end of the year.
12. I find I am really happy and much more willing to give my time to other people and help where I can.
13. My mind is now much more peaceful because I found my true passion.
14. I now work on becoming a better version of myself everyday.
I did't do this post to boost, to the coronary I did it to show those of you out there who are struggling you can do this as well. If you only knew where I was at last year you would totally believe you could do this and I know you all have it in you to make the changes necessary. You just have to do it and don't let the mind stuff tell you you can't. You can.

I appreciate your post Andrew; one of my biggest hurdles is becomming a lot more healthier. I suffer from migraines; although they have subsided considerably, now, my health issue is insufficient sleep. I don't deliberately stay up late, my body just tends to wake up very early, so Ue'm often operating on just 4 or 5 hours of sleep, and it's not even a solid 4 or 5 hours. I'm convinced that my eating habits are a major factor.
I did a 40 day fruit & vegetable fast a couple of hears ago; sadly, I didn't have a plan in place after I finished, so Ibwent right beacl to my usual. I decided to start with eating just fruits & vegetables, with some grains, for a couple of weeks, starting today, and get some sort of exercise in, at least 4-5x a week to start.
I'm going to "star" this so I can come back to this, periodically.

With all the things I have managed to achieve, the biggest thing I have learned is consistency and Self-discipline.
Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. You just have to do it. Ever heard that before?

Thanks for the like. You said it in your comments. You WISH and you CAN'T. If you like Star Ways Yoda says it something like this.
"No! Try not! Do or do not, there is NO TRY"
There it is my friend. Stop wishing and saying you can't. It is your self-destructive thinking causing the problem. You absolutely can do it. You just have to work out what you actually want then take action. You will notice that all I did was make a decision on what I wanted, gave it focused attention and then took action on the intention.
There is one very simple mistake most people make. They listen to the voices in their head telling them things that are not real.
Here's the thing. Focus on what you truly want and not what you don't what. For example, don't say things like I don't want to be sick anymore. Say things line I am well. You will always manifest what you think or say. So be very careful what you think and say.
Another thing is "It is not what you think about but what you give your attention and focus to that makes the difference."
Tosh, I believe in you, you can do anything. You just have to believe you can. Anytime you have a negative unhealthy thought just remember what you what and put you focus there.
I am not giving you advice here Tosh, just some simple facts, it is still up to you. Take control and do it now.
