Persistence and confident expectancy paid off

Its sure is interesting how persistence and certainty can pay off.

This past Sunday i was visiting my dad. Solving some sudoku puzzles and listening to audio about personal achievement on my mp3 player.

It was time to leave back to my city and went to the bus station, arrived 5 minutes earlier, put down my bag and begun to wait. After few minutes glimpsed in my phones clock it was 1 minute past arrival time. I thought, well must be delaying and continued to wait.

I saw a another guy waiting for a bus too. Another few minutes went by, the bus is taking some time. Then through the branches of threes saw the glimmer of the bus. Yay!

I, one other guy and and couple that was sitting in the car stepped out of the car and moved forward to the bus. Some people stepped out, the bus-driver said the bus is full and we can't take up any people. Naturally i asked can we have a standing ticket, still get the no answer. Some more people stepped out of the bus some to strech, and some to fill their lungs with cigarette smoke.

The couple well, we should then go back to car i watched the leave and soon the car disappered from my view. The other guy went back and forth for a minute and then went away.

Decided my best opton would be to wait since the next bus arrives after 1 hour 15 minutes. So i continue to wait with a confident expectency that i will get on this bus. Some people step back in the bus and some still step off. Finally the bus-driver is stepping in the bus and say you are going to Liepaja? I answered affirmative. Get in, i have one seat for you. So i buy the ticket and sit in the very front of the bus.

What a magnificent view of the road i had! The road which i had took more then hundred times suddenly become so rich and full of life. So much detail, that i would probably missed most of it, have it i sitted elsewhere or stood on my feet.

I believe that also happens when we take the wheel of our on life in our hands, the journey looks much more exciting fulfilling.

Persistance and confident expectancy can be really powerful. The lessons of life are there every day we just have to look for them.
