I have a related question. I got a domain name with a very long name. Currently I have 12 posts on it not counting the About Me and Privacy Policy.
If I got a new one, can I do a bulk transfer to the new site? I know that is going to screw up the permalinks. Would I have to treat my new website as if it was brand new and get all my posts indexed again?

If your content is already indexed I wouldn't move it as it is obviously ok

Write a list of all the things you love to do, buy or learn about.
Make sure your niche can be monetized down the track when you have built a solid foundation with loads of great content

Yes, Vicki is correct. You will have to buy another domain if you don't like your current name.

When I first started I was using a tablet, it is possible but very hard and time-consuming. I would advise you to get some laptop or PC even if it is old, just make sure that you have an internet connection...It will be much easier for you.
To be honest, it will be nearly impossible to build a successful website using only a cell phone.
The typing will be tough but it can be done, I have referrals in another program that use smartphones to blog all the time.
I don't recommend it but I suppose it is possible. Just don't expect to make money for the first few months
