No, I don't mean the little old lady of whom you wouldn't be here without.

I try really hard to get it right but I don't touch type and so some mistakes are overlooked.

Also, there are slight differences between English and American English, that a few Yankees have picked me up on, then I get all offended and have to prove the difference or the fact that we are both right in both cases.

So, I have been hearing about Grammarly over the few months I have been here and did think it was a good idea but just didn't get around to seeking it out.

Today I was reading something online and this pop-up - popped up and it was Grammarly. I took the plunge by clicking on the said pop-up and it took me straight to it. I signed up for it on Chrome and then it gave me the option to sign up for Windows version too, so that is what I did.

I do wish I had done this so much sooner because I can go ahead and type away to my hearts content without having to look at the screen for ages.

Grammarly highlights all of your mistakes in red and you can easily go through them and change them to correct way in one click.

Totally Brilliant.

You can go into your Grammarly and create your whole piece of writing there, then I assume you copy and paste it back. This is the first time I have used it in the actual home of Grammarly.

There is an option in the menu to copy or download. Great.

If you haven't tried it yet click on this link and it will take you there easy as pie.

Hope this is of help to you all.

Agree Andi completely - I installed in two months ago, and now I don't think I could do without it.

BTW it will also send you a weekly report on how well you are doing.

Steve

Will it? Wow, the person who invented this is a genius. I am going to install it on my daughter's tablet. It might help her to recognise where she is going wrong. She is dyslexic so it will help her with her school work.

I'm pretty good with my spelling and grammar -I thought, until I began using Grammarly! :-) I use the free version and it's very helpful.

That is what I thought too NorahJ

Usually, I don't have a problem with spelling or grammar but I installed it anyway out of curiosity. I love it!
Oh, grammar is spelled incorrectly in your title. oops! Accidents happen!

I know, I did it on purpose. Well done for noticing, though. Love Andi.

I see. You got me with that one.
I usually notice these types of things. I used to tell my step dad what was wrong with his documents on the computer as I was walking out of my bedroom. Ended up correcting his work. Everytime.

It is a talent, and a good one to have.
Love to you.
Andi

I can get really irritating about it. So, I usually bite my tongue and run! lol

Phaa clever clogs.

Thanks for the tip

o.k it is very good.

Hi Andi
I use Gammarly. It's s good tool.

Yes, I do wish I had found it sooner.

Spelling's important too -- you might want to correct the misspelling in your title. :=)

Well done Bob, I did it on purpose.

Hi Andi, Grammarly is great but be sure to download your post to save it. When you copy and paste to your site, use the text mode. This will save you from rewriting and editting.

Good tips, thanks very much.

I use it too. Loes treated me to this.

Good, glad you use it, I did notice your blogs a word perfect.

Thanks, dear

I use Grammarly free, and it helps me a lot by spelling mistakes, but you always will recognize on my grammar that I am not a native English speaker. And there are a lot not native English speakers here.

Yes but we like that about you.

Hi, Andi, I downloaded Grammarly some time back and it is super. I knew I could not spell but the grammar part is really causing me to see lots of red. In fact, some days it makes me want to rip my hair out. So much for what I learned in English many, many years ago. I struggle on. Have a great day! s

It is a bit of an eye-opener, isn't it. It is even correcting me as I am typing this to you in here.
