Wow! What an experience! The birthing process is an amazing part of this universe. My daughter had a boy - Micah Jay.
She went into labor on Sunday morning at about 1:30a.m. She did not deliver until Tuesday night at 9:31p.m. This was over 68 hour of laboring to bring this little one into the world.
Micah weighed 9 lbs 11 oz and measured 23.5 inches. A BIG one indeed! No wonder he would not engage. He knew Mommy would not be able to successfully pass him through the birthing canal. After trying for natural childbirth, he was taken by C-section.
Micah, Mom and Dad will be home tomorrow to start their journey in the cycle of life.
