I am a total fresh fish here with the even mere idea of online blogging, i tuck away and write to myself in my sometimes dusty journal, and it all stays in there like a vault in an Indiana Jones flick. So finally, I am kicking my friend fears' ass off the couch he's been surfing for years now and going to give it a shot.

What i need is direction on what the best site for a webpage to be created on (even if its these templates through Wealthy Affliate) to use for my hopefully welcomed blog. So if you twisted beautiful writers alike can offer me some guidance i'd be eternally greatful!! thanks guys

Hi Ancientsun,
I'd have to agree with Ryan and suggest using WordPress since you have access to build your own right here at WA, which you can find at the SiteRubix button on the left.

Start it for free and later on, only if you decide to, you can always buy a domain and transfer everything over to it...up to you whether you want to buy one or not, or keep it free...at least as far as I know it still is. It's very easy to work with though...if I can do it, I'm sure you can too.

It's what I've used and you have quite a few different themes to choose from too. Different themes also have various options available as well to change things around if you find you'd rather have something a certain way or a different color.

Anyways, not sure where you're at with the training, but yes, a lot of writing is involved once you get going on your blog/website...glad to hear you're kicking fear in the rear, lol!

Hope that helps some...
Best wishes :) ~Sherry

Even before I joined WA I have always found WordPress, to be one of the pest building platforms. The best part is WA provides you with WordPress. That is of course of my own personal opinion. I think the teplates there are awesome I personally use template named "twenty sixteen" for most of my sites then change it around a little. Also just a little tip I learned over time, when you write you blogs, write from your heart don't try to make it absolutely perfect.

Hope that helps
Ryan
