Hi All,
It is absolutely late at 1:29 am. I have way too many email addresses and checking all of them can be tricky. I noticed multiple users were logging onto one of my sites. I freaked out because a day ago saw an article of potential hacks to WordPress sites, I must clarify my site is under construction, but still thinking someone logged in gave me a fright.
From June 5 to today, other people were subscribing to the site, why? I actually do not know this has never happened, but recently I did give access to a company a bought a theme from, which turned out to be a fraud because the theme didn't work as promised at all. And I know that I did everything by the book still it was not working. Even the theme, people were having issues. I realized that I paid for a theme that has a lot of flaws. Anyway, I gave them my piece of mind and moved on. I was very patient for a while, but they kept telling me lies.

I connected with Site support today after seeing the many emails from WordPress alerting me of the users. Site Support quickly told me that my settings for my site have the option of "anyone can register." Of course, all these registrations started after I ended the relationship with the company. Odd, suspicious, but anyway, moving on.
I just want to say thank you to Site Support Staff that answered my email at this hour of the night.
I wanted to write this up to say thank you!
All the best,
Ana
