In less than 24 hours, this new app has 30 million signups. I signed up 3 hours after the launching - feels so refreshing indeed to see threads are getting crazier and exciting at the same time. The Power of Meta's Threads App
Meta's Threads app offers a refreshing take on social networking, so far on conversations rather than just sharing content. Similar to TWITTER - it allows users to engage in meaningful discussions, connect with like-minded individuals, and explore various topics of interest.
Here are some key features that make this app stand out:
- Threads: You can create a post of up to 500 characters, share links, photos, and videos that are up to 5 minutes long. Whether you want to share your thoughts on a trending topic or join an ongoing discussion, threads provide the perfect platform to express yourself and connect with others. With an intuitive interface and easy-to-use features, participating in threads is a breeze.

Before you download the app - you need to have an existing Instagram account.
1. Search and download "Threads, an Instagram app", you will be prompted to log in using your Instagram credentials. Subsequently, Threads can also seamlessly transfer your Instagram username and bio to the app. But don't worry, you have the option as well to personalize your profile as desired.
2. Choose if you want to keep your profile "public or private".
3. Threads presents you with the choice to automatically follow all the accounts you currently follow on Instagram or selectively follow a few.
4. Lastly, simply tap on the "Join Threads" option which you will find at the bottom.
Just a heads up:
Followers from your IG can't be import to your Threads. Currently, it is not possible to make edits to a previously posted Thread. However, you do have the ability to control who can reply to your post or hide the like count even after it has been shared.
